The library is the perfect weekend hangout with your friends or family. Enjoy the space for FREE and play with games, story bag kits, puzzles, computers, building materials and more. Drop by each week for these themes:

4th Saturday – Creative Crafts

Every Wednesday1:30-3:30 PM.

Drop by and hang out with other crafty folks as you work on your own projects.

Join other book lovers on the last Wednesday of the month at 1:30 PM at the Ramara Centre branch to discuss great novels!

The Ramara Library Quilting Club began in 2003 when a group of women sharing a passion for quilting decided to meet at the library once a week, to share ideas and work on projects in a group atmosphere. Before long, they decided to make a quilt together and raffle it, with the proceeds benefitting the Ramara Public Library. Since then, the group has made and raffled a quilt every year, supporting the Library's Summer Reading Program, and various shelving projects in both branches.

New members are always welcome to join.

Brechin Afterschool Activities – Thursdays from 4 to 6 PM (Drop In) 

Are you looking for fun in Brechin after the school day is done? Head over to the Township Office to find the temporary Brechin branch. Enjoy Lego, colouring, puzzles, tech toys and perhaps even a pop-up story time!  

Unattended children: those under the age of 9 must be accompanied by someone 12 or older. Infants and toddlers must be supervised at all times by an adult.

Family Pumpkin Party – Udney Community Centre 
Thursday, Oct. 30th @ 6:30 PM 
Get in your best costume (homemade or store bought, we don’t mind!) and join us out in Udney for a night full of spooky carving fun, creative contests and games and some trick or treating warm up. Appropriate for ages 4-12, younger children welcome with adult assistance. Adults must stay on location for the duration of this event.

Little Adventurers 
Friday, Oct. 3rd, 10th, 17th, 31st, Nov. 7th, 21st, 28th and Dec. 5th @ 10 AM 
Calling all friends between the ages of 0-4 years old – this one is for you! Join the Library and Ramara Recreation in the gymnasium for a fun time of various activities, sensory bins and games, finishing off with a group song and story time. This is also a great time for parents, grandparents and guardians to meet and socialize.  
Registration preferred, drop-ins welcome.
