Optimizing Your Phone’s Camera & So Much More!

Session 1: Becoming Comfortable with your Camera / Mobile Device Camera

Being able to feel confident in your ability to capture a moment as it's happening will empower you to use the camera more often! You will learn how to use your camera at the basic and intermediate level and go over some not-so straightforward functions to assist you in becoming more comfortable with your camera. Please feel free to bring in your Android, iPhone, DSLR or Mirrorless Camera system so that we may learn and practice with them in class!

Session 2: Shooting Creatively and Autumn Photo Opportunity

Now that we have a baseline understanding and confidence in our ability to use the camera functions, it's time to look at “how” you should line up your shots. Entry-level discussion on image composition, exposure and editing will be followed up with a practical session (according to your mobility) to use your new skills to take photographs during the fall colours and seasonal opportunities that present themselves around the Ramara Library.
